2019: APC Stakeholders Endorses Galadima For Second Term

Almost three years into the four years tenure of elected public officials, political activities in Yobe State have started tilting towards the 2019 general elections with a number of prospective aspirants in different positions.

The stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) of Bade and Jakusko local government areas of Yobe State has endorsed Hon. Yau Galadima for a second team in the House of Reps of Bade/Jaakusko federal constituency, saying Hon. Galadima’s integrity will earn him another team in 2019.

A chieftain of the APC from Jakusko LGA, Alhaji Idi Elbadawy, along with other stakeholders from the area unanimously agree to endorsed the Hon. Yau Galadima as the sole candidate of House of Representatives among other contestants from the areas for second team.

He also advised others who showed interest for the House of Reps position to step down for the youthful man in order to complete his work he started.

“Our political endorsement of Hon. Yau Galadima is based on his good performances in office,” he said.

He added that they endorsed Hon. Yau Galadima because of his performance in the last two years despite the economic recession nation faced, the lawmaker provided over 100 solar street points at Gashua, 35kv solar power station at Gwio Kura, 3 new transformer at Gashua, solar boreholes at College, solar boreholes at Federal University Gashua, payment of students registration fees.

However, he promised to work with Hon. Galadima, other leaders of the party to ensure that unity remains the hallmarks of the party as it prepares to tackle issues of transforming the state.

He said it is striving to ensure that it  repositioned the APC in the area despite the previous crisis in the party.
