Anti-party Activities: Kogi APC Chairman, 38 Others Removed From Office

The All Progressives Congress (APC) yesterday announced the sack of the Kogi State chairman of the party, Haddi Ametuo and 38 others for gross misconduct and anti-party activities.

This followed a report recommending their removal by the disciplinary/fact finding committee set up by the Office of the North Central Zone of the party.

Ametuo was removed alongside 38 others for working against the interest and progress of the party in the state.

The list of the sacked Executive Officers also includes some local government officers of the party who were found guilty of working against the interest of the party.

LEADERSHIP friday recalls that the party had set up the fact-finding/investigative panel to look into allegations against the affected party officers.

The party upheld the report of the committee which recommended the removal of the affected officers.

The Kogi State chapter of the APC was embroiled in crisis as some officers of the party were found to be openly working against the state government formed by the All Progressives Congress after a landslide victory in the 2015 general elections.
