The movie graced 5 Nigerian born  actors; SoPe Aluko (pitch perfect 2), Tunde Laleye, David Opegbemi, Tari Omoro Jr., Amaechi Okocha. The rumored appearance to cast of Genevieve Nnaji and Funke Akindele however did not happen. Nevertheless, this movie premier has made it to the high row.

Currently it is poised to top the 4-day haul of Avengers: Age of Ultron of $212m and will surpass many of Marvels and DC’s major A rated Box Office performance of all time.

According to Deadline, Ryan Coogler-directed movie earned an A+ CinemaScore tonight, arguably Marvel’s second after 2012 The Avengers. The social media is not left out in this buzz; twitter having an all time high on @blackpanther and #blackpanther. A philanthropic  #BlackPantherChallenge — which allows kids to see the movie for free is also on.

Major, A rated Hollywood Actors, Actresses and Musicians; 2face and Annie Idibia, Olu and Joke Sylva, Korede Bello, Paul Adeferasin, RMD and a host of others  purchased tickets to view the premier.

Huffpost in its analysis called the premier as glorious as people dressed in various costumes and regalia to grace this great Afro futuristic premier.
