The Editor of LEADERSHIP style, a weekly lifestyle and entertainment pull out, Miss Ruth Tene on Tuesday lost her car to robbers. The car was stolen in front of her Kubwa residence in Abuja.
Ruth, who is also the vice chairman of the NUJ LEADERSHIP chapel, just last week lost her phones, money and other personal belongings to robbers on her way to Kaduna. Her willingness to surrender her bag with its contents without struggle saved her from any attack. And because she cooperated with them, they dropped her, gave her some change for transport and gave her the SIMS in her phones.
Accordingly to her, they collected her ATM card and asked for the PIN which she willingly gave them. Their efforts the cash her money at the ATM failed as they were seeing N66 instead of N66,000. They eventually returned her ATM card. She later used it to cash her money.
However, announcing the incident on the stolen car through her Facebook wall, she said “I went outside this morning and my car has been stolen, right in front of my house….Gold coloured Toyota Camry, SUL 247 AA. Minna. What else can d devil do?”
