Fergie Addresses Her NBA All Star Game, National Anthem Fail.

Published

The Black Eyed Peas singer, Fergie performed the US national anthem in the 67th edition of the NBA’s annual showcase and wasn’t applauded and almost booed at the Staple centre as well as all through social media.

According to Fergie in her tweet and interviews in various media platforms, she considered herself a risk taker and all she wanted to do was to do something spectacular and different. She said “I tried my best with that national anthem”

In her statement release on abc13.com, “I am a risk taker artistically, but clearly this rendition didn’t strike the intended  tone”…. “I love this country and I tried my best”.

However the slow blues cover of the United states National anthem which I see as brilliant, is termed as one of the most maligned anthem performances in US history.
