Ahead of the 2018 APC National Convention scheduled to hold on 23rd June 2018 at the Eagle Square, leaders of the NYCN has endorsed Chief Tina Ekwueme-Adike Deputy National Women Leader of the All Progressives Congress Abuja.

Chief Tina Ekwueme-Adike who hails from Imo State is an aspirant seeking for a Re election as the Deputy National Women Leader of the ruling party.

Comrade Obinna Nwaka, the Director of Political Matters at the National Youth Council of Nigeria rejoiced and showed solidarity to the Deputy National Women Leader of the All Progressive Congress  saying his  reason for the Youths solidarity and support towards her Agenda was the show of love she displayed during the wedding of one of the Council’s mentor on 23rd Dec 2017 at Enugu when she honored the invitation of the NYCN and also led over 120 women to the wedding.

Nwaka described her as a lively, lovely and Youths friendly mother who humbles her self in the politics of the 21st century.

It is on this premise, that the Nigerian Youths didn’t only show solidarity but also pledged to canvass and ensure she gets the honor of the delegates during the Convention.

In a gender reaction,  an official of the Council, Abiola Ruth Timothy described her as an example of a good woman in leadership, a mother of APC women and a supporter of men in politics despite her good relationship with the first lady of Federal Republic of Nigeria Aisha Buhari she still humbles her self and work in synergy with other party women from various zones.

She truly deserve continuity in other to assist the party to deliver Mr President come 2019 general election.
