Riches, Uko Emerge Face Of Hope Kid’s Pageant



After a tensed online screening for the 2017/2018 Face of Hope Foundation kid’s pageant contest, 7-year-old Roche Onimisi Riches and 8-year-old Onome Uko emerged winners which was organised by Face of Hope Foundation, a non-governmental organisation saddled with the responsibility to reach out to vulnerable children and women in our society.

The newly crowned King and Queen will be working together to carry out humanitarian outreaches of the Foundation for the next one year.

Speaking after the crowning, the founder, FHF, Ms Grace Ibironke Ojo says the aim of the foundation is centered on giving back to the society.

She stressed that purpose for the pageantry was to create awareness while exposing privileged children to the plight of the less privileged children.

She also encourage parents to inculcate in their kids the spirit and nature of giving to make the world a better place.

“We want to thank all of the entrants for the immense role they have played in helping to make the Face of Hope Foundation Kids fashion show and pageantry 2017/2018 contest a huge success. The finalist emerge after scaling through the first stage of being selected by a panel of judges through an online screening process.

“The winners were selected based on the most likes in votes via an online platform. After determining the winners, they were crowned, and certificates were awarded amidst a photo session,” she explained.

High point of the event was the presentation of gift items to the winners which were educational material (mainly books), religious books, sport items and clothes.
