PMB’s Visit Will End Taraba Crisis – Nguroje

A former deputy Speaker, House of Representatives and chairman governing board of Nigeria Investment Promotion Commission (NIPC), Hon Babangida Nguroje has commended President Muhammadu Buhari over his visit to Taraba to condole with the state over clashes the claimed lives and destroyed properties worth millions of naira.

Hon Nguroje also admonished the people of the state to imbibe the culture of tolerance to one another so as to give peace and development a chance in Taraba state.

In a statement on the heels of the recent visit of President Muhammadu Buhari to Taraba state, Nguroje called on the people to shun acts of violence, stressing that developments and the investments potentials of the state would not be maximally utilized if the state remains in crisis.

He further assured the people of the state to trust the words of President Muhammadu Buhari that peace would return to every part of Taraba.

He also thanked the traditional rulers and all state stakeholders for the warm reception accorded the President and urged them to continue to play their stabilizing roles that would guarantee lasting peace.

He also stated that the potentials of the state were enormous  but they could only be put to maximum use to the benefits of the people in an atmosphere of peace and tolerance.

“I must first and foremost commend the President for the visit and call on the people to embrace peace and unity; we cannot achieve anything in a chaotic atmosphere. We must tolerate one another so that together we will attain our full potentials and take our rightful place in the global space”.
