Niger State governor, Alhaji Abubakar Sani-Bello has reassured the people of the state of his administration’s commitment to ensuring that the state is a safe haven for all peace loving and obedient citizens.
The governor who gave this assurance on yesterday in Minna, the state capital when he received people from Muyan and Shiroro Local Government Areas of the state in his office, said security of lives and property was paramount on his agenda.
The governor who said he was committed to ensuring peace and security in the state also commended the security agencies in the state for the successes recorded so far in securing lives and property of the citizens , especially in Muyan and Shiroro Local Government Areas of the state.
He assured the people that his administration will not relent in the fight against insecurity as the safety of lives of citizens is essential.
Earlier, the leader of the delegation from the two local government councils, Mr Anthony Francis applauded the efforts of Gov. Sani-Bello in ensuring the restoration of peace and security in the area.
He then pleaded with the government to intensify security build up in the area to curb the increasing wave of crime and criminality in the two local government councils.
