The Omega Power Ministry (OPM) have joined millions of Nigerians in praying for the safe return of the remaining Dapchi school girl, Leah Sharibu.

Sharibu was abducted by the Boko Haram insurgents alongside 109 others. While five of the school girls lost their lives during the ordeal, others have been returned safely to their families, Sharibu is yet to be reunited with her family due to what sources have said is as a result of her refusal to renounce her Christian faith.

Omega Power Ministry (OPM) which has championed educational development in the society and the growth of the Christian faith said the abduction of the girl is painful and Christians all over the world must pray to God for intervention. The ministry hailed the courage of the fifteen year old Leah Sharibu describing it as worthy of emulation. It urged Christians around the world to pray for her, ”Christians around the world let’s spend two hours to pray for our dear sister Leah Sharibu that refused to deny our Lord Jesus Christ”.

The Ministry in a statement signed by Nwokoma Messiah promised to give Leah Sharibu scholarship. The statement reads; ‘’Anyone that knows the family of our sister, please give this message to her parents, for refusing to deny our lord Jesus Christ, on behalf of Omega Power Ministry (OPM) Worldwide, she has been given scholarship to any level of her choice when she is released. She and her parents will be relocated to Port Harcourt, a business will be opened for the mother and a land will be bought for them where a 3 bedroom flat will be built for them free of charge from offerings and tithes. Please share until this message gets to someone who knows the family. She made the best decision and she will never regret her decision.”
