Farmers/Herders Clashes Social Media Group Calls For Unity



As the rainy season is fast approaching, a group under the auspices of Adamawa Social Media Group for Bindow has enjoined the people of the state, especially those from the grassroots who are mostly farmers and herdsmen to live in peace.

The chairman of the group, Hon Nurudeen Kama who made the call yesterday said people at the grassroots must respect one another’s rights to farm.

Kama, called on parents, guardians and well spirited individuals living in the state to caution their children from being used by politicians as political thugs ahead of party congresses and general elections.

“We should imbibe the culture of community policing by reporting any suspicious items, materials and individuals to the nearest security formation across the state,” Kama advised.

According to him, the group has the mandate of promoting the good works of governor Bindow with facts and figures through social media and also have a corporate responsibility as good citizens to reach out to others.

The group also made a passionate appeal to those who had registered but are yet to collect their PVCs to be patriotic enough to go to their respective INEC offices and collect their PVCs.

‘’Those who are yet to register should please go out and register so that you can be able to take part in the process of consolidating on the successes of governor Bindow by reelecting him to continue transforming Adamawa into greatness,” Kama said.
