President Muhammadu Buhari yesterday returned to Abuja after an appointment with his doctors in the United Kingdom.
The President landed at Nnamdi Azikwe Airport Abuja some minutes after 7pm last night and was received by senior government officials.
Speaking to State House correspondents at the airport, Buhari said: “I just went for further medical checkup. I am now okay.”
Recall that President Buhari on Tuesday undertook a four-day trip to the United Kingdom.
In a statement by the Senior Special Assistant media to the president, Garba Shehu, he said In the course of the technical stop-over for aircraft maintenance in London on his way back from Washington last week, the President had a meeting with his doctor.
“The Doctor requested the President to return for a meeting which he agreed to do.
