Rehoboth VII Praise & Worship Concert Debuts In Abuja

An inter-denominational praise and worship concert organised by the Redeemed Christian Church Of God, Desire Of Nations Church, Jabi is set to debut Rehoboth VII in Abuja.

The bi-annual programme tagged “Perfecting Rest Through Praise” which is the first edition is billed to take place by 9pm on Friday, 18 May, 2018 at the church auditorium.

Speaking during a press conference in Abuja yesterday, Chairman Planning Committee, Arc. Sola Ayodele said Rehoboth VII is a God given vision, adding that in such a time as this in the world, as Christians we are supposed to be the solution to the world.

“Rehoboth VII is anchored on the bible scripture in Genesis 2:22. It’s our believe that when God has settled an individual, the persons moves from a place of restlessness to a state rest, that is why we have that combination Rehoboth VII, praise that will lead to your place of rest.

According to him, “It is non denominational gathering of Children of God to worship Him. This programme is to bring people into God’s presence in a place of Worship and praise, believing that there’ll be signs and wonders. It is a spiritual gathering, and anyone coming for the programme will encounter a total experience. Let me encourage everyone that there’ll be restoration of lost years, there’ll be recovery; we have a conviction that people will be restored back and better to what God has in plan for them.

Convener of programme, Shola Oluwole (Shola Sax) in his address said: “Early in the year when God gave me this vision, He said he wants to give some people rest. He told me through praise and worship Nigeria will receive rest. I took a step of faith to organize this programme and I believe people’s lives will be touched as they come.”

Also speaking, Taiwo Ibidapo (Tee Worship) in his remarks said praise ends here on earth, while worship is what we’ll continue to do in heaven, because praise talks about what God has done, while worship talks about who God is. He said, “No man comes into the presence of God and go back the same way, there’s always evidence, saying God does not visit His people without an evidence.

“This programme will be a night of re-awareness for what we are created for. It will be complete worship, and situations will be turned around through praise,” he added.

Expected ministers at the programme are Pastor Kingsley Ike, Sanmi Metiboba, Gideon Ademola, Dunsin Oyekan, Bayo Strings, TeeWorship, Sheyifunmi Oluwole, Amos Tugbobo etc.
