KOICA Trains Lagos Public Servants On e-Govt

Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) through the Federal Ministry of Communication has introduced a new project planning basic course to Lagos State public servants and Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs).

KOICA in a statement made available to LEADERSHIP yesterday said the programme is a component of “Project for Capacity Building of e-Government in Nigeria.

The statement reads: “From 2015, over 1000 government officials from 95 federal MDAs have already participated in the regular e-Government training program being held both in Nigeria and Korea.

“The objective of the course is to address the knowledge gap in practical e-Government Project planning and implementation and also to raise a pool of public servants who will be capable of overseeing its implementation in the country.

“KOICA hopes that the e-Government master plan for Nigeria will be adopted as a policy guide for future project implementation in the country”.
