Oyo State director, National Orientation Agency, Mrs Dolapo Dosunmu, has called on Nigerians, especially Muslims to continue the good deeds and eschew every act that is ignoble as they have exhibited in the holy month of Ramadan.

In a Sallah message yesterday, signed by the head, media and publicity of the Agency, Alhaji Isiaka Kehinde and made available to newsmen, Mrs Dolapo Dosunmu stressed that “religion plays important role in the formation and transformation of the social entities as it lays down specific moral guidelines and enjoins virtues which, if followed, will promote human flourishing.”

She, therefore expressed her delight on the way Muslims all over the world exemplified these noble traits that were essential ingredients for social integration and harmonious living during the month of Ramadan and implored all Nigerians to continue in those exemplary traits after Ramadan.

Dosunmu therefore rejoiced with all Muslims as Ramadan ends and advised them to continue to foster peace and boost social integration in continuation of our collective quest for building a society where peace and progress will be attainable.

She said, ”The first and fundamental law of nature is to seek peace and strive to maintain it. Peace is integral to social progress, hence, we should all walk the path of peace building in Nigeria to make the progress, which we all desire, to be achievable.”

The Oyo State NOA director therefore, sent her Edeil-fitri greetings

to Oyo State governor, Senator Abiola Ajimobi, the chief imam of

Ibadan land, all the clerics and good people of Oyo State saying,

“I wish you all a happy Edel-fitri celebration and pray that almighty

God accepts your fasting as an act of Ibadah and reward you

abundantly.”
