Minister Challenges Journalists To Put Public Officer On Their Toes

Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Malam Muhammad Musa Bello has tasked journalists to always keep government officials and politicians on toes, to enable them deliver on their mandates.

Bello, who gave the task during a chat with a cross section of the newsmen in his official residence, Life Camp, stated that the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) would continue to deliver on its mandates and also improve on the achievements of the previous administrations.

He commended the staff of FCTA for their diligence and professionalism, adding that he was fortunate to work with them, just as he also praised the objective report of journalists covering the administration, which according to him, has led to more development of the FCT.

Speaking earlier, chairman of the FCT Press Corps, Mr. Ikharo Attah, had lauded the minister for completing many projects he inherited from the past administrations.

Some of the completed projects, according Ikharo, include the inner southern expressway, the outer northern expressway, the road behind Aso Villa, Games Village, Gudu/Apo roads, as well as the popular Gbagalape and Apo-Karshi roads, among others.
