THE VALUECHAIN, New Oil And Gas Magazine For Launch Next Tuesday



All is now set for the official launch of Nigeria’s premier exclusive oil and gas magazine, THE VALUECHAIN. The magazine which will be launched on Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at the luxurious Fraser Suites in Abuja by 1:00pm, is expected to attract the cream of Oil & Gas Industry in the country and beyond.

To commemorate the birth of THE VALUECHAIN Magazine, a public lecture with the theme “Transparency: A Desired but Challenging Culture in the Nigerian Oil & Gas Sector” has been put in place, and will be delivered by former Chairman of the Economic & Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Malam Nuhu Ribadu.

In a statement released by the magazine’s Publisher/Editor-in-Chief, Musa Bashir Usman, the lecture is meant to address the consistent allegations of fraud, dubious subsidy regimes, under-remittance of revenue to the federation’s account, as well as shady deals in oil well/crude allocations and Joint Ventures, among others, by top officials of public and private Oil & Gas companies in Nigeria in the last decade, with the view to proffering solutions to the problems.

THE VALUECHAIN Magazine is a newsletter that was conceived and planned to intimate the public, especially those in the Oil and Gas business, about daily happenings in the sub-sector in Nigeria, Africa and the rest of the world.

The magazine, which will continue to be published monthly in print, also has an online news version that reports instant events in the Oil and Gas industry as they unfold.

Among the dignitaries expected to grace the occasion are the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Dr. Boss Mustapha, Honourable Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Dr. Emmanuel Ibe Kachikwu, Honourable Minister of Communication, Barr. Abdul-Raheem Adebayo Shittu, Honourable Minister of Water Resources, Engr. Suleiman Adamu, Group Managing Director of NNPC, Dr. Maikanti Baru and the Former Minister of FCT, Dr. Umar Moddibo Aliyu.
