Springsville School Holds Speech, Prize Giving Day

As part of activities to mark the end of its 2017/2018 academic year, Springsville International School, Asokoro Abuja hold its annual speech and prize giving day.

The event which took place over the weekend has in attendance dignitaries and parents from all works of life from Abuja and its environs.

In her opening remarks, the director of the school, Hajia Alawiyya Faruq Kuliya, identified some key areas that has been helping the school to record huge success.

“Springsville International School is a Creche, Nursery and Primary School for all kids irrespective of tribe or religion. We provide a conducive physical and intellectual environment that fosters keen interest in knowledge with a world class academic curriculum combining both Nigerian and British curricula. We give the necessary foundation, motivation and moral guidance that nurture morally sound great minds ready for future academic pursuits. Our vision is to nurture morally sound great minds who will be future leaders,” she said.

The mother of the event, wife of the former vice president, Hajia Amina Namadi Sambo charged parents and teachers to redouble efforts in ensuring sound moral to the children as she said the level of indiscipline these days among the young ones who happen to be the future leaders is very alarming.
