Group Hail Dankwambo’s Achievement, Endorse Him For President.

A political group in the Northeast “My ID” has lauded the various achievements of Governor Ibrahim Hassan Dankwambo, and endorsed him to contest for the 2019 presidential election.

The group through their leaders from the Northeastern states endorsed the governor in Gombe, the state capital on Thursday, after three days of intensive deliberation and analysis of the Governor chances of clinching the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) ticket to slog it out with President Muhammadu Buhari.

Hon. Danlami Ahmed Kawale, the coordinator of the movement told Journalists that, after analysing all the candidates from the zone, the settled for Dankwambo because of his rich political credentials, his infrastructural and human development both in public and political circle.

“He is an excellent public servant with wholesome tract records, he is young, highly intelligent, very professional in his approach and must reliable at all times”

Kawale while describing Dankwambo as a pragmatic performer and prudent manager of resources with the ability to match words with actions, said he is a “marketable” candidate.

The group believed that with Dankwambo as the PDP candidate in the race, the zone stands the chance of actualizing its dream of producing the next President.

“The leadership and members of MyID, resolved to commit everything persuasively and politically possible to ensure that this time, the Northeast sub region got the presidential ticket by great Nigerians through personal contacts, media and other medium in support of Dr. Ibrahim Hassan Dankwambo for President 2019.”

Kawale, who said the group is reaching out to other political groups across the country, especially in the north central zone, to solicit there support, disclosed that the group in collaboration with over 100 Dankwambo support organizations across the country will soon organize a mega rally in Abuja to endorse and demonstrate their support for Dankwambo.
