Scores of air passengers on Friday expressed mixed feeling on the new national carrier, ‘Nigeria Air’, unveiled by the Federal Government.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Mr Hadi Sirika, the Minister of State for Aviation, unveiled the name and logo of the airline at the Farnborough Air Show on Wednesday in London.
While some passengers welcome the new national carrier, others criticised it, saying it’s a fraud.
NAN recalls that over the years, many Nigerians, especially those in the aviation industry, have clamoured for the creation of a new national carrier after the liquidation of the Nigeria Airways in 2003. (NAN)
