Youth Alive Foundation, a Youth focused anti-corruption organisation, in conjunction with funding agencies, is set to hold an anti-corruption summit, Tuesday, in Abuja.
According to the executive director of Youth Alive Foundation, Uduak Okon, the summit is aimed at enhancing youth participation in anti-corruption activities for collective impact.
“There are lots of evidence on the state of corruption in Nigeria. There are agencies working to increase youth participation in governance. Most of us working in the anti-corruption space decided to bring various stakeholders: MDAs, civil societies, international agencies, who are funding this project together to discuss what they know about corruption, what works, what are the challenges. I think that is the best way forward in dealing with the menace corruption in Nigeria.
