Gombe: PDP Guber Aspirant Solicits Media Support Ahead Of 2019.

Front line governorship aspirant under the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), in Gombe state, Alh. Jamil Isyaku Gwamna, was on Tuesday, receive by the Correspondents chapel of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, Gombe state chapter when he paid a courtesy visit to the state office of the union in Gombe.

Ibrahim Sani Shawai, the media coordinator to the gubernatorial hopeful who visited the chapel office on behalf of his principal said the purpose for the visit is to get acquainted with media practitioners in the state and to solicit their support in projecting Jamil aspiration.

While soliciting for love, cooperation and support from the members, he noted that he could only achieve his mission as a media coordinator through collaboration with Journalists, especially the correspondents’ chapel, his immediate constituency.

“This project cannot be successful and I cannot succeed in my task without your love, support and contributions, I therefore solicit your cooperation to enable me succeed.” He said.

He went ahead to inform the Journalists that they will be given due respect and recognition in the scheme of things.

Shawai stated that Jamil, joined the race for the gubernatorial election because of his genuine love for the state and he is convinced in his spirit that he can continue with the good works of Governor Ibrahim Dankwambo.

In his response, the chairman of the chapel, Abdullahi Tukur, thanked the August visitor for taking the right decision to visit the chapel, “we are humbled for this recognition and solidarity.”

While assuring him of the chapel support in reporting the aspirant activities, he urged him to remain steadfast in his course and to always put God first in all his dealings as it would only work if it has been sanctioned by God.
