The Kwankwasiyya Solidarity Movement (KSM), has urged former governor of Kano State, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, to openly declare his intention to contest for President in the forthcoming general election.
The group which also declare support for the new Coalition of United Political Parties (CUPP), formed by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), reformed All Progressives Congress (rAPC), Social Democratic Party (SDP) and other political parties, enjoined Kwankwaso to identify with the coalition.
The coalition seeking to wrestle power from the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2019 elections.
National coordinator of the group, Mr Sebastian James made this known in Abuja, when he led other members of the group on a solidarity visit to the chairman of rAPC, Buba Galadima.
James noted that the group is prepared to campaign vigorously for Kwankwaso, and that it has presence and structures in the all 774 local councils the 36 states of the federation and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
