‘Non-functional Curriculum Bane Of Education’

Leadership Nigeria News Today

The Principal of Pacific Schools, Lagos, Mr. Andrew Mekwunye, has said that the use of nonfunctional Curriculum in the educational sector remained the major source of challenge in the education sector. Mekwunye stressed the need for the government to carefully look into the Curriculum for primary and secondary schools and restructure so that the sector will be better for it. He assured that the school would continue to implement programmes that deliver internationally integrated curriculum. “Our curriculum enrichment programmes continue to internationalize our programmes and make our students globally competitive. Note that to the glory of God, we will continue to uphold best practices and shall never engage in any form of cheating or exam malpractice,” he said.
