The Director-General of the National Youth Service Corps, (NYSC), Brig-Gen. Zakari Kazaure, has tasked corps members, to add value at places of primary assignments, through initiating people orientated community projects.
Kazaure made stated this, in Yola during tour of the state, where he cautioned them , against unnecessary night parties and be cautious of their security especially at places of primary assignments.
“You are expected to initiate and execute people oriented projects to add value at your host communities of primary assignments.
“Avoid unnecessary night parties and be security caution of y ourselves.
“You should shun all form of social vices, as the scheme is committed to ensuring your monthly allowances is reviewed.
Mallam Abubakar Mohammed, state Coordinator said, 1953 have register for the 2018 batch ‘B’ orientation course.
Mohammed said out of the number, 41 corps members were released on either for nursing ‘ marital and pregnancy grounds, while 40 others were relocated on health related issues.
He lauded the DG, for the upwards review of feeding allowances of corps members from N500 to N650 for every corps member.
