CUPP Mobilisation C’ttee Holds Inaugural Meeting

The Coalition of United Political Parties (CUPP) Contact and Mobilisation Committee, has held its inaugural meeting on Thursday, 9th August 2018 in Abuja, to map out effective strategies of mobilising Nigerians to vote for the Coalition in the forthcoming general elections.

This is contained in a statement by the chairman of the committee, Rev Olusegun Peters and made available to newsmen in Abuja, yesterday.

According to the statement, three sub-committees were set up by the committee. The sub-committees include, Operations, whose chairman is Ambassador

Olarewaju Oyeyemi and Blueprint sub-committee with Barr Ihechi Ike (R-APC) as chairman. The Budget sub-committee has Professor Godwin Nnaji (BNPP) as chairman.

The sub-committees are expected to submit their report to the chairman, Contact and Mobilisation Committee, Rev Olusegun Peters on Monday, 13th August 2018.

“Political parties, political associations, civil society organisations, youth, women groups, individuals and all stakeholders in the democratic process should feel free to contact the committee.

“It is time to return the government to the people as sovereignty resides in them”, the statement said.
