The Rivers State Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice, Mr Emmanuel Chinwe Aguma, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) died yesterday in a London Hospital
LEADERSHIP Weekend gathered that Aguma, the scion of a first Republic politician, Chief Emmanuel Aguma, died after spending some weeks in the hospital.
The Ogbunabali, Port Harcourt-born legal luminary, joined the Governor Nyesom Ezenwo Wike-led government in 2015, after serving as the head of the legal team of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Campaign Organisation.
However, Rivers State is yet to officially react to the news of the demise of the Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice as at the time of filing this report.
Efforts made by LEADERSHIP Weekend to get a confirmation from the Commissioner for Information and Communications, Hon Emma Okah, failed as calls made to his phone did not get through.
