Prince William

The Duke of Cambridge is only the latest in a long line of royal lefties, except his son, Prince George decides in future, to favour the use of his left hand over his right hand. Remarkably, the trait of left-handedness in the royal line seems to come from among King Georges, including King George II, King George IV and the Queen’s father.
The Prince’s left handedness was first revealed when he signed his name in the visitors’ book at Llandaf Cathedral in Wales, in 1991. As a polo loving individual, being left handed was a handicap for him because the game only permits the use of the right hand. But he was determined to play the sport if not for any other reason, so he could out do his brother in the game.

Benjamin Netanyahu
Whenever he signs agreements or treaties with other countries, the current Prime Minister of Israel since 2009, Benjamin Netanyahu always has the pen in his left hand.
The master of the pen has written and edited several books, many of which are on the subject of terrorism: Self-Portrait of a Hero: The Letters of Jonathan Netanyahu, 1963-76; International Terrorism: Challenge and Response, 1979; Terrorism: How the West Can Win, 1987; A Place Among the Nations: Israel and the World, 1992; Fighting Terrorism: How Democracies Can Defeat Domestic; and International Terrorism, 1996.

Uhuru Kenyatta
Kenya’s fourth president, Uhuru Kenyatta, is the son of the first president of Kenya, Jomo Kenyatta. The 67-year-old has been president of the East African country since 2013, and, he is left handed. Being left handed however did not stop Kenyeta from playing rugby in his high school days at St Mary’s High School in Nairobi where he played as a blindside winger and played first in the senior Colts team before progressing to the school’s 2nd fifteen. It did not also stop him from pursuing a career as a bank teller between 1979 and 1980, in his home country, Kenya.

David Cameron
Former British Prime Minister, David Cameron is left handed, still, he writes, plays tennis and drinks left-handed. He was the first left-handed prime minister in Britain for some time. The former Prime Minister claims to have also played rugby as a younger man in the position of hooker.

Tony Abbot
Anthony John Abbott is an Australian politician who served as Prime Minister of Australia from 2013 to 2015. He was leader of the Liberal Party from 2009 to 2015, and has been a member of parliament since 1994, representing the Division of Warringah in New South Wales. He was and remains a left handed individual doing everything from writing, to throwing things with his left hand.
