NAGAFF Canvasses For Youth Takeover Of Leadership In Nigeria

National Association of Government Approved Freight Forwarders (NAGAFF) has canvassed youths’ takeover of leadership and organizations especially in maritime industry in Nigeria as obtained in other parts of the world.
Speaking at a parley, organized by NAGAFF in Lagos, the founder of the association, Dr. Boniface Okechukwu Aniebonam advised that elders should step aside for the youths to grow and meet the needs of the society in the dynamic world.
He said, “I will be 65 years old next year and will step aside for the younger ones to inject fresh ideas into the running of the association”.
Aniebonam disclosed that he would not be stepping aside alone but with older members of the association like the chairman, Board of Trustees (BOT), Chief Chidiebere Enelamah and some others.
The NAGAFF founder also advised older maritime journalists to give way for the younger ones to take over maritime reporting, adding that maritime journalists should come together as one strong body in order to develop capacity.
Aniebonam averred that there are more benefits journalists will gain if they come together under one umbrella.
