A House of Representatives aspirant on the platform of All Progressives Congress (APC) in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Tpl, Abubakar Sadiq, has charged youths, across the country, to shun any form of violence and to support nation building.

Sadiq, who gave the charge in an interview with newsmen in Gwagwalada yesterday, noted that peace was priceless, just as he urged the youths to stay clear of violence and contribute to the development of the country.

The aspirant urged the youths to shun politicians who might want to use them as thugs in the build-up to the 2019 general elections in the country.

“Youths are the future of this country and deserve to be treated with equal opportunities and right to contribute to the development of our nation. I call on the youths to shun any form of violence that could divide the country but rather engage on productive activities to better their future.”

He however called on the electorates to collect their permanent voter cards (PVCs) and vote credible leaders in the 2019 general elections, adding that registration and collection of PVCs are very essential to the success of the forthcoming elections.

Sadiq, who also called on Nigerians to be their brother’s keeper and tolerate one another, added that peace is a necessary requirement for the development of any society.
