Gov Masari Loses Elder Sister



Katsina State governor, Aminu Bello Masari, has lost an elder sister, Hajiya Rakiya, aged 86 years. She died last Sunday after a brief illness at General Hospital Malumfashi.
Governor Masari, who paid a condolence visit to his relations in Kafur town, said the late Hajiya Rakiya was a humble and amiable person who stood solidly for the unity of the entire family.
The governor further extolled her demise as a great loss to the family and the community as a woman of integrity and prayed God to grant the soul of the deceased eternal rest.
He also encouraged the family to accept the death as the will of God while praying the fortitude to bear the loss.
The governor was received by his stepfather and Madawakin Masari, Alhaji Bello; former deputy accountant general of the state, Alhaji Kabir Masari and other relations.
Late Hajiya Rakiya, who is survived by a daughter and many relations, has since being buried according to Islamic rites.
