Gov Bindow Donates Foodstuff To NYSC

The Adamawa State government, has donated five cows, 50 bags of rice to the Batch B (Stream II), of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), members deployed from Adamawa and Taraba States, for their one-year national service. Bindow, who declared the orientation course open, yesterday, said the scheme had witnessed value change, when the camp was closed down due to activities of insurgency in 2012. Dr Buba Bindir, Secretary to the State Government (SSG) who represented the governor, said government had mapped
out strategies that would nip in the bud, any attempt to cause disharmony in the state. “I am pleased to announce to you that, we have taken peculiar measures to ensure safety of corps members, at lodges and workplaces all over the state. “NYSC has remained the main fiber, that holds Nigeria as one indissoluble nation, consider yourself highly privileged to participate in this noble scheme”. Barr Suleiman Zumo, chairman, NYSC Governing Board in the state, presented a request for tarring of the road leading to the NYSC permanent
