The Traditional Medicine Practitioners of Nigeria, have described Human Trafficking and Illegal Migration as “Evil Trade” that demand collaboration of all stakeholders to terminate them completely.
The president of the group, Prof Omon Ohiabhele, stated this while speaking at a stakeholders’ meeting yesterday in Benin.
The theme of the stakeholders’ meeting was, “Traditional Medicine and Its Practice For Wealth Creation, Strategies Against Human Trafficking: The Role of the Traditional Medicine Practitioners.”
While describing human trafficking as modern day slavery, he said the fight against the menace, in addition to Illegal Migration, must not be left to the government alone.
