The stage is set for the 12th edition of the annual Nigeria Media Nite-Out Awards (NMNA) which will see Nigeria’s most influential newspaper, LEADERSHIP, lock horns with rival media organisations for the prestigious Newspaper of the Year Award.
LEADERSHIP Newspaper is nominated in five categories for the prestigious award including Business Writer of the Year, Sport Writer of the Year, Entertainment Writer of the Year, Online Medium of the Year and the eagerly anticipated Newspaper of the Year category.
The event which is slated for 23rd September, 2018 at ‘B’ Event Hall, Airport Hotel, Ikeja, Lagos will have the Governor, Nasarawa State, Governor Umaru Tanko Al-Makura as guest speaker, among other dignitaries from all walks of life.
The event themed, “The Role of Media in Ensuring Credible Elections and Maintenance of Good Governance” is to celebrate media excellence in Nigeria while recognizing practitioner’s outstanding contribution to the media industry, coupled with leadership and entrepreneurship prowess, in the economic advancement of the nation as it relates to education, empowerment and security.
Chairman, Solkem Entertainment and the organising committee, NMNA, Mr. Sola Olugbemiro, said this year’s edition of the awards event promises to be steps ahead of the previous ones both in packaging and delivery.
