2019: Nasarawa Assembly Vows To Support Acceptable Governorship Aspirant

The Nasarawa State House of Assembly, says that it would assess the over 16 governorship aspirants and support the well experienced and acceptable one among them in the state. The speaker of the House, Ibrahim Balarabe-Abdullahi, made this known yesterday in Lafia, when an APC governorship aspirant, Abdullahi Sule paid a consultative visit on the Members on his governorship ambition come 2019.
Balarabe Abdullahi noted that the state lawamkers as a critical stakeholders in the state would assess to know who will succeed governor Tanko Al-Makura.

The speaker also said that the state lawmakers are praying hard for the emergence of a credible governorship candidate that would take the state to the next level of development. Balarabe Abdullahi enjoined all the aspirants to work in unity for peace and progress of the state, as he commended A. A. Sule and his campaign team for considering the state lawmakers critical in the Nasarawa State project.
Earlier, the governorship aspirant, A. A. Sule said he was in the Assembly to share his vision and aspiration with the Members on what he intended to do if elected as governor. He used the medium to debunk rumour making around that he is not an indigene of the state and he would mortgage the state if elected. He also commended the cordial relationship between the legislature and the executive arm in the state and called for its sustenance.
