A governorship aspirant under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Senator representing Plateau South in the National Assembly Senator Jeremiah Useni, has said he will restructure Plateau State, end insecurity, if elected governor of the state in the coming general election in 2019.
Useni was speaking after he submitted his expression of interest and nomination form, at the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), National Secretariat, Wadata House, Abuja on Wednesday.
Useni who is also a former minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) is promising to provide free education, boost agriculture and attract foreign investors to the state.
Some of his supporters described the General as a man whom the cap fits. For now, about 16 aspirants of the PDP have collected nomination form for the party’s governorship ticket in Plateau State. They however, called on the party leadership to ensure a credible governorship primaries. If nominated, Jeremiah Usani will be facing governor Simon Lalong who is for now the only aspirant seeking reelection under the All Progressives Congress (APC).
