APC Will Win Gombe Guber Election – Aspirant

A Gombe State governorship aspirant on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Alh Umar Farouk Bamusa, has vowed to remove the stumbling blocks, which prevented the APC candidate from winning the governorship seat in 2015.

Bamusa, who spoke yesterday, shortly after he obtained nomination form to run for the number one political seat in Gombe State at the APC headquarters in Abuja, said the stumbling blocks were the unpopularity of the APC candidate among youth and women.

He noted his entry into the race would translate to bidding farewell to other political parties especially the PDP, which has ruled the state since 1999.

“There was a hurdle that stopped the APC from winning Gombe State in 2015 and I am going to remove the hurdle to make victory a reality. The hurdle was unacceptability and unpopularity. I am the candidate of women and youth in Gombe State.”

Speaking on the development of the state by the ruling party, Bamusa said it was 16 years of waste and neglect. Sixteen years was decimated, no improvement, even in physical infrastructure, human capital neglect. That’s exactly what we are going to address because there is no investment in human capital.
