In line with its commitment to spread development to rural areas, the Edo State government is organising a 5-day management workshop on community-based projects, for officials of line ministries and other stakeholders.
In a statement, the state government said the workshop will hold from September 10-14 at the Imaguero College Hall, in Benin City, the state capital.
Participants expected at the workshop include officials in the ministries of social welfare, social works, education, health, information, women affairs and practitioners amongst others.
The workshop will review strategies for project management and expose participants to new trends in the field; assess the impact of community-based development initiatives and recommend areas of improvement.
