Katsina State governor, Aminu Bello Masari, has insisted that the All Progressives Congress (APC) led government has laid a solid foundation to create a prosperous future for Nigerians.
Masari gave the assurance in Katsina during a solidarity visit by a coalition of former coordinators of Usman Bugage campaign organisation in the 34 local government areas of the state led by their chairman, Abubakar Nuhu Ahmad, who pledged their support for the reelection of President Muhammadu Buhari and the governor in 2019.
He explained that the infrastructural development executed by Buhari in the past three and a half years in the areas of human and economic development had surpassed the achievements of the previous administration in that direction within six years.
The governor called on youths and women not to relent in supporting the APC led administration in view of its mission and vision aimed at moving the nation forward.
Meanwhile, the special adviser to the Katsina State Government on Economic Development, Abdulkadir Mamman Nasir, had restated the government’s commitment to boost the economy of the state and the welfare of youths and women.
In his address at the start of a training programme for hearing impaired persons, Nasir pledged the government would continue to initiate empowerment programmes to boost the business activities of entrepreneurs in the state irrespective of their challenges.
The governor’s aide, who disclosed that the beneficiaries would be given soft loans after the training to boost their businesses, added that the directorate trained about 1,500 persons recently on modern business techniques and provided them with funds to improve their businesses.
He hailed the resolve of Governor Masari to support the directorate to implement more programmes in youths and women development to nurture more successful entrepreneurs across the state.
