Mr Isaac Osahon, a former member of the House of Representatives, was on Monday presented with nomination form by his constituent to go back to the Green Chamber.

Mr Duncan Iyare, while presenting the form on behalf of the Ovia Federal Constituency, said it was a reward for the impact Osahon made in Ovia while in the House between 2011 to 2015.

He said the constituency seat which is currently been occupied by the opposition party, have not  witness any development since then.

“Our decision to present him with a nomination form is informed by his developmental strides in the constituency as a member of the House of Representatives. His projects; roads, electricity, borehole among others, are still visible.

“It will interest you to know that since he left, the Ovia Federal Constituency have been abandoned, the present occupant has not done anything, to either improve or match what she met on ground.

“What we are saying is that, we want Hon Osahon to go back to the House and do what he did before.

Iyare said members of the constituent have pledged to support the former representative members to actualise this goal.

In his acceptance speech, Osahon who said he was tempted to reject the nomination form, however noted that he has no choice than to obey the call by his people.

Osahon who said he was touched by the action of his constituent, vowed to do all that is legitimate to secure victory for the All Progressives Congress (APC), as well as his people.

While noting that he had felt bad over some ill-treatment by his party of recent, stressed however, that it have been over taken by event.

According to him, “You will recall that some few weeks ago, I did spoke on the ill-treatment have been melted on me by the party, but today, the story is that of sweetness.

“Today is not about complain, but a good message as far as my constituent is concerned. I am indeed overwhelmed by this show of love and can only do my best not to fail you all.

“My people have always been my interest, which account for my performance while in the House. You support also did some magic,” he stated.

He appealed to members of his constituent to also extend same supper to Gov Godwin Obaseki, whom he described, as a man poised to changed the narrative of the state.

“You all can see what the Governor is doing to industrialise the state, he needs our support to actualize the good things he has started in the state,” he said.
