The national women leader of All Progressives Congress (APC), Hajiya Salamatu Bawa said that President Buhari’s re-election is the best option that can provide the enabling environment and hope for the average Nigeria Youths as stakeholders in the government of Nigeria.
She stressed this as she was addressing youths who came to condole her for the death of her mother in her country home, Ayamgba Kogi State.
She said that only President Buhari can genuinely encourage, stimulate and empower youths participation in politics and leadership in Nigeria, noting that Buhari is a strong, virile and democratic.
She said Buhari reelection will provide Youths the enabling environment in realising their skills and vision as well becoming contributors in the socio-political camp; economic development of the country and also bring job opportunities through Agriculture and other non-oil sectors.
She urged the youths to be patient and support President Buhari’s re-election to confront the evil head on at this stage of our political emancipation, noting that the youth cannot fold their hands and watch in bewilderment of the political mischief-makers destroying and heating the politicsof this nation.
On his part, the national coordinator of Committee for the Defence of Democracy (CDD), Dr. Pat Anyanwu urged the youths to rise for the defence of our nascent democracy and reminded the youths their political potentials and voting strength as the youths constitute 80 percent of voting strength for Buhari’s re-election in 2019.
