Barely twelve hours after a spree of their pre-wedding pictures went on social media, Nollywood actor and producer, Kemi Lala Akindoju and her boo, Gbubemi Fregene popularly known as Chef Fregs tied the knot in a typical traditional wedding splendorous in Lagos on Sunday, 16th of September.
The couple who have been dating for a while without attracting public attention to their relationship would have cause to smile as marriage especially celebrity marriages are milestones looked forward to by friends and fans and now it is being consummated.
In the ‘Dazzling Mirage’ actor’s hashtag on Instagram, she put the word,
#àṣéwẹ́rẹ́niṣẹ́olúwa which in Yoruba means God Did It With Ease. The lovebirds have continually showered each other with romantic lines on their respective Instagram page.
Kemi Lala and Chef Fregz have written their names in gold on the movie set and in culinary programme having spent more than a decade in their respective industry. It was only certain that actors and celebs would grace the wedding and they sure did as the occasion attracted dignitaries such as Omotola Jalade Ekeinde, Iretiola Doyle, Rita Dominic, Adesua Etomi Wellington, Banky Wellington, Ebuka Obi Uchendu and a host of others to celebrate with the couple.
Before now, the hardworking thespian has not been romantically involved or heard of being in a relationship with anyone in the industry or outside. The 31-year old thespian, Kemi Lala started her acting career in 2005 from stage performances before venturing into feature films and she has been nominated in many awards including the Africa Magic trailbrailzer award which she won at the 2016 Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards, AMVCA. Her hubby, Chef Fregs is a celebrity and professional chef after earning a Diploma in Cuisine at Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Institute in Paris, France and other degrees.
