AMAC Chairmanship: I Have Capacity For Efficient, Effective Leadership – Aspirant



An aspirant vying for the chairmanship of Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC) under the the All Progressives Congress (APC), Solomon Shekoyeyi Ngbako,
has stated that he has the track record of functional, effective and efficient leadership quality, which he plans to deploy when elected to lead the party at the level.

The aspirant further insisted that he will tap into the inner resource of his youthfulness in ensuring that the socio-economic potential of the council is harnessed for the betterment of the council.

He stated this at his formal declaration even as he promised to change the current narrative of the council by providing an all-inclusive leadership style so as to restore the spirit of integration that is fast eluding the council.

He said: ” I have capacity and legacy to provide Functional, effective and efficient leadership (FEEL) that will provide and ensure quality delegation of authority and power to every office holder whereby every office will be responsible and office holder held accountable.

“As a pragmatic idealist, I have always appreciated the intricacies and processes that are required to achieve insurmountable goals and objectives. I strongly believe in community inclusivity that produces the potential of amicable and mutual co-operation with the aim of addressing and achieving collective interests. I have a keen interest in the socio economic development of societies.

Considering the Nigerian society boasts of a high youth population, I have always and will always be a big proponent of sustainable youth development. I have keen interest in economic and human capacity development, sustainable growth and empowering the youths for a brighter future.”

On what the dividends of his leadership portends, he said “To restore the spirit of integration in AMAC people to avoid mutual suspicion, prejudice and ignorance.

“The existing projects such as AMAC Marshal, AMAC Investment and Property Development Company Ltd will be injected with innovation to achieve the desired goals as companies.

“Have capacity and legacy to fight corruption with zero tolerance and to provide all-inclusive local community development in the whole 12 electoral wards.”
