Africa’s leading women’s forum, The Women in Management, Business, and Public Service (WIMBIZ), is set to hold a one-day summit on Thursday, September 27 at the Shehu Musa Yar’dua Center in Abuja.

Themed “Success Stories: Having what it takes,” the summit is a follow up to the 2016 Abuja Super Round Table, featuring some of Africa’s leading women in business who will be sharing success secrets they have implemented to achieve remarkable results. ‘Success Stories’ will offer inspiration and support that will ultimately connect and empower women around Nigeria.

Speakers at this event are renowned leaders from the private and public sectors who continue to set the pace in their various industries. They include; Deputy Governor CBN Mrs Aishah Ahmad, Head of Service, Federal Republic of Nigeria Mrs Winifred Oyo-Ita FCÀ, NPoM, Managing Partner, F.I.T. Consult Limited Chief Loretta Aniagolu and Senior Fellow, Children’s Investment Fund Foundation Dr. Mario Mandara.

Featuring panel discussions, one-on-one sessions with speakers and other interactive activities, the WIMBIZ Summit is set to provide a road map towards moving beyond the start line and reaching the finish line in business, career or any given enterprise.

The Abuja summit has become imperative due to the growing need to reach women in other parts of the Country seeking viable avenues to develop themselves by learning from accomplished women. It will be a time for creating meaningful connections and engaging conversations about the challenges women face in business in order to gain insight on the principles and tenets of success in today’s dynamic world.
