Lagos Assembly Shifts Sitting To Oct 6

The Lagos State House of Assembly has postponed sitting from the earlier scheduled date of September, 17 to October 6, this year.

Our correspondent learned that the decision to postpone the sitting was sequel to a Parliamentary meeting of the House held penultimate week by members of the House at the Assembly Complex in Lagos.

It was also gathered that sitting was postponed to enable members reach out to their various constituencies and strategize on their re-election bid for the second for term.

When our Correspondent visited the Assembly Complex at Alausa in Lagos, some of the Assembly members present yesterday said the House will surely resume come October 6, 2018.

The members who did not want their names mentioned stated that by the time the House resumes sitting, the present tension in the state must have reduced after the All Progressive Congress (APC) primaries slated for September 29, this year.
