A front line contender and former Senior Special Assistant to Gov. Samuel Ortom on Administration, Comrade Austin Agada has expresses his determination to continue in the race in leading the good people of Ogbadibo constituency in the Benue state House of Assembly seat come 2019. He made this statement in order to discard the speculations that stakeholders are planning to arrogate power to themselves by attempting to impose candidate against the wishes of the people of the constituency.

In a statement made available to Journalists in Makurdi, yesterday, Agada stresses that, ‘any plan to impose a candidate against the wishes of the peoples in the forthcoming elections, especially, ‘The Ogbadibo State House Of Assembly’,  would amount to outright desecration of political ethics and standards of the  ruling All Progressive Congress (APC). He said that the best thing is to allow aspirants to test their polarities by slug it out in the poll.

Recall that, recently, a political pressure group, under the aegis of “Otukpa Progressives for Good Governance (OPGG)”, had purchased The Expression of Interest & Nomination Forms’ for Comrade Austin Agada to contest for the Benue State House of Assembly, Ogbadibo local government constituency, in the 2019 general elections.

According to the leader of the group, Comrade Clement Ogbeh, said, ‘it is time for Comrade Austin Agada to be rewarded for the work he has been doing for the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC.’

The group further appealed on behalf of Agada ,that for transparent operation of 21st century democracy, Otukpa and Orokam districts have politically gain enough to romance in the current dispensation both at Benue State and Federal governments and should allow the Owukpa district where the former Ortom’s Aide , comr. Agada comes from which practically has no representative at the State and Federal levels to be given the position.
