Character Commission Gets New Chairman



Federal Character Commission (FCC), has announced the appointment of Hon. Abayomi Sheba, as the acting executive chairman of the commission.
The spokesman of the commission, Mr. Adamu Idris made this known in a statement issued in Abuja.
He said, “Sheba appointment followed a letter from the office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation dated September 18.”
“That Sheba replaced Dr Shettima Bukar-Abba, whose tenure had ended.
“Sheba was a member of the House of Representatives in the Fourth National Assembly, he was a Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Ondo State,” he said.
Abayomi Sheba hails from Ondo State. He holds a Masters Degree in Law and Public Administration from the Adekunle Ajasin University and Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife, respectively. He is happily marriage with children.
Until his appointment Sheba was the Federal Commissioner representing Ondo State on the Board of the Federal Character Commission.
