Lawmaker representing Kaltungo/Shongum federal constituency at the National Assembly, Hon. Binta Bello has presented 12 fairly used Honda End of Discussion (EOD) vehicles to some party officials in Gombe south.
Hon. Binta who is vying for the position of Gombe South Senatorial district under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) said the gesture was prompted by her appreciation of the party leadership for their cooperation and genuine partnership with her in the discharge of her constitutional responsibilities, promising more dividends with time.
While presenting the vehicles to the party leaders on behalf of the lawmaker, her senior legislative assistant, Hon. Simon Dauda Tula, recalled the lawmaker cordial relationship with party leaders in the state and her contributions in sustaining the party not only in her constituency but the entire state.
He said the lawmaker who is also the deputy minority whip of the house through her philanthropic gesture and constituency projects has touched the lives of many in her constituency and beyond through construction of boreholes, schools, education empowerment, skill acquisition programs among others.
He described the gesture as one out of the many reasons for which the honorable member must be nominated to represent the people of Gombe south at the upper chamber.
Those that benefited from the gesture were party chairmen, secretaries, women leaders and youths leaders of the 3 local government in the constituency.
