Abdulsalami, el-Rufai, Others For Unveiling Of Hawthorn Suites

The first Hawthorn Suites in Africa, Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham will be commissioned in Abuja this Sunday after years of renovation and rebranding.The commissioning will take place at a grand ceremony to be attended by prominent Nigerians including the Executive Governor of Kaduna State, Mallam Nasir el-Rufai, who will perform the formal commissioning ceremony of the 5-star hotel. Also, a former Head of State, General Abdulsalami Abubakar, will be the chairman of the occasion while the Emirs of Suleja, HRH Alhaji Awwal Ibrahim and that of Minna, HRH Alhaji Umar Faruk Bahago are the Royal Fathers of the day.

This was disclosed at a press conference addressed by the General Manager of Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham, Mr. Aminu Saad, in company of other top officials of the hotel in Abuja, yesterday.
LEADERSHIP reports that Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham is part of Wyndham Hotels and Resorts, an international hotel and resort chain based in the United States. The Abuja branch boasts of uncommon facilities and services.“Wyndham Hotels and Resorts is the world’s largest and most diverse hotel company, encompassing approximately 9,000 hotels and more than 600,000 rooms in 66 countries under 20 hotel brands. Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham Abuja is owned and operated by Shelter Suites & Hotels Ltd, a leading hotel developer and operator in Nigeria,” Saad said.
He added that Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham is a 108 Suite hotel offering guests single, double and suite accommodations.“Our business forecast looks promising and I would like to extend my gratitude to you as our media partners for the support of Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham,” Saad noted.
