An Abuja-based journalist, Mrs Favour Shuab Ishember, has declared her intention to contest for Benue North West Senatorial seat in 2019 election, under the platform of Justice Must Prevail Party (JMPP).

Speaking with LEADERSHIP, shortly after making her declaration, Ishember said she intends to bring about revolutionary legislation to the good people of Benue North West senatorial district if elected in 2019.

She maintained that her party (JMPP) has no silver or gold to buy votes, but is divinely positioned to win the 2019 general elections at all levels of representations.

The senatorial hopeful noted that Benue North West Senatorial district has not been properly represented in the past, adding that her emergence as a senator in 2019, would restore hope and confidence for the good people of the district.

She continued: “JMPP has come for total and complete elimination of all forms of corrupt leaders through the instrumentation of the 12 pillars of oath of righteousness and integrity that holds the peace and destiny of Nigeria which leads to the judgment of death, if violated.”

She called on the electorate to vote wisely as 2019 general elections would shape the political turf for good, stressing that her party is poised to heal the entire nation with no money politics.

Ishember also criticised past senators of the district for not attracting constituency projects such as roads, water, healthcare, and other infrastructures to the senatorial district.
